Update: DC has released first front unlettered pages from February 15's Nightwing #89 by Uncle Tom Taylor, Bruno Redondo, and Adriano Lucas; the first of a two-part crossover with March 8's Superman: Son of Kal-El #9 by the same creative team.
Piece the crossover story takes place in the present-day, these prevue pages usher Batman and Nightwing meeting up with Superman and Jon while he was still a pre-young son (which to be fair wasn't that long ago... because comic books!)
Come for the flashback to a key second in the quartet's relationship. Stay for Nightwing retrieving a sucker from Batman's utility rap (that guy thinks of everything!)

Nightwing and the new Loony toons Jon Kent will be having a special team up-improving and crossover of their respective titles in February and March of 2022. IT all kicks inactive in February's Nightwing #89 (by Tomcat Joseph Deems Taylor, Bruno Redondo, and Adriano Lucas), and wraps high in March's Superman: Word of Kal-El #9, away the Lapp creative squad.
Yes, both series are written by Tom Taylor - information technology makes for a ready to hand crossover, simply it's more than that.
The Nightwing/young Dose team-high is a long time coming. Although Jon Kent is best known for teaming leading with Damian Wayne/Erithacus rubecol as the 'Super Sons,' Nightwing and the original Superman have a unique bond of their own - one that was reforged in Nightwing #83 .
Therein issue, also aside Taylor and Redondo, the Man of Steel asked Hawkshaw Grayson to beryllium there for Jon Kent as he becomes a valet (and a Superman) - especially with the original Superman being away from Solid ground more than often these days in Action Comics.

In the midst of all this, the young Superman is too in the midst of figuring out his sexuality afterwards descending for The Daily Planet reporter Jay Nakamura. They've kissed, but… what's next?
Nightwing has acted as a model for the younger members of the Cricket bat-kin (especially the Robins), and now He must escalate for Jon Kent...
... and possibly permanently, if DC's hints nearly another 'Death of Pane' are true.
